Results
Achieved
To examine treatment effectiveness,
we are currently collecting information at treatment entry and again at
a six- and twelve-month follow-up interview. Extensive outcome data are
not yet available. Information assessing the extent to which clients met
program goals is collected at discharge. Preliminary analyses indicate
that 62% of the adolescent clients met all or most of the treatment program
goals, while 32% met some of these goals. These assessments will be compared
to the client follow-up information to determine the relationship between
meeting treatment goals and how well the client maintains a healthier
lifestyle following discharge.
