Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Issues

Program Overview

Arapahoe House treatment programs provide integrated services for clients who have co-occurring substance abuse, mental health and trauma-related issues. As a part of the services offered in the adult and adolescent residential programs, a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner conducts an in-depth assessment for clients who have a need and medically appropriate medications can be prescribed. For clients who are admitted to the residential program, the medications are closely monitored. For clients who are also homeless or have other special needs, a case manager is assigned to coordinate linkage to other needed services.

Outpatient services are geared to address co-occurring issues including linkage and service coordination with other providers.
