Volunteer Opportunities

The purpose of the Volunteer and Student Placement Program is to enhance services provided to Arapahoe House clients, increase community awareness regarding substance abuse and Arapahoe House programs, and provide work experience and training opportunities to future substance abuse counselors.

Arapahoe House has volunteer opportunities in all of our Metro Denver locations for the following positions:

  • Counseling
  • Case Management
  • Administration/Clerical
  • Child Care Workers

The benefits of working as a volunteer at Arapahoe House, include:

  • The opportunity to work with the region's largest and most comprehensive substance abuse treatment program;
  • The opportunity to work with, and learn more about, substance abuse issues;
  • An opportunity to gain experience to enhance a resume or graduate school application;
