SUPPORT POSITIONS

 

Call Center Technician – Bilingual (English/ Spanish):  Part time position working Monday through Friday, 9am-2pm (25 hours per week) in Thornton.  Primary duty is call center operations.  Provide information and assist callers with access to Arapahoe House services.  Requirements include a minimum of one year call center experience with a high volume of calls and a Bachelor’s degree in the Human Services or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have excellent customer service, data entry and typing skills. Candidate must have the ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing. Closing date:  9/9/2010

 

Childcare Worker, On-Call:  On-call position available at our Littleton location.  Supervise and teach children while their mothers participate in treatment services. Establish effective relationships with children and their mothers.  Requirements include a minimum of one year experience qualified as determined by state (may be met by documented experience, a Bachelor’s degree, child development/early childhood education courses, etc.).  Closing date: 9/9/2010

 

Clinic Assistant (Aurora) – Part-time position working as a vital team member in a progressive substance-use disorder and behavioral health treatment clinic in Aurora.   This is an excellent entry level opportunity into this field.  The schedule will be Monday thru Friday, 4:30pm-8:30 pm.  Individual will provide a wide variety of clerical support to the team, as well as be a significant member of the client’s treatment team.  Duties include excellent customer service, balancing of client fees, auditing of all client admission charts, and administering and monitoring UA’s and BA’s for clients.  Requirements include High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six months clerical experience.  Must have Microsoft Office proficiency.  Bilingual preferred (ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing).  Closing Date:  9/9/2010

Addiction Technician, Adolescent Residential:  Part-time position (20 hours) working Saturday and Sunday in Thornton.  Individual will conduct intakes, new client orientation, group facilitation and milieu management.  Requirements include a BA/BS degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work) or one year of college plus one year of documented work experience in behavioral health and Certified Addiction Counselor I (or the ability to receive within one year of hire).   A minimum of one year experience working with adolescents is required. Certified Addiction Counselor II strongly preferred.  Closing date: 9/9/2010

 

Addiction Technician, Adult Residential, Healing First:    Full time overnight position, 11:30pm – 8:00am, Friday through Tuesday in Thornton.  This is an entry level opportunity to gain experience in the substance abuse field.  Individual will provide group facilitation, help maintain safety, monitor clients and provide record management in the adult residential program, Healing First.  Minimum requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work, etc.) or one year of college plus one year of documented work experience in behavioral health, and CAC I preferred, or the ability to receive within one year of hire date.  Certified Addictions Counselor II preferred.  Closing date:  9/9/2010

 

Addiction Technician, Detoxification Services:  Full time position working Thursday through Monday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm in Aurora.  Individual will provide admission and discharge services as well as provide a safe environment for clients undergoing detoxification. Requirements include either a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social services, etc.)  or a Certified Addictions Counselor I (CAC I) with one year of documented work experience in behavioral health.  Closing date: 9/9/2010

 

Addiction Technician On-Call:  Provide admission and discharge services as well as provide a safe environment for clients in detoxification or residential treatment programs.  This is an entry-level opportunity to gain experience in the substance abuse field.  Requirements include Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work, etc.) or one year of college plus one year of documented work experience in behavioral health, and CAC I preferred, or the ability to receive within one year of hire date, reliable transportation, and willingness to work at different locations throughout the metro area.  Schedule requires availability working a variety of shifts including weekend, overnight and evenings, and holidays.  Excellent pay.  Free access to Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) classes.  Closing date: Ongoing

 

Addiction Technician, Residential Programs, On-Call:  On-call position working overnights, 11:00pm - 7:30am, in Westminster, Thornton, and Littleton.  Primary responsibility is milieu management.  Support clinical activities of the program, including client contact, co-facilitation of groups, case management activities. Assist in the provision of treatment services to residential clients and their children, as well as providing care services and maintaining the safety and security of clients and the facility. Requirements include a minimum of one year related experience.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work, etc.) or one year of college plus one year of documented work experience in behavioral health, and CAC I, or the ability to receive within one year of hire date.  Certified Addictions Counselor II preferred. Addiction Technician, Women’s Residential:  Full-time position at our women’s residential program in Littleton working Sunday through Thursday, 11:00pm – 7:30am.  Maintains the safety and security of clients and facility, provides milieu management, bed checks, and hourly rounds. Assists in facility upkeep, supports clinical staff members, and provides administrative support including filing, maintaining/updating census, reviewing charts, assisting with discharge summaries and charting paperwork. Crisis intervention and medication monitoring. Requirements include a BA/BS degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work) or one year of college plus one year of documented work experience in behavioral health.  A Certified Addiction Counselor I (CAC I) is required.  Closing date:  9/9/2010

 

Addiction Technician, Wright Center:  Part-time position (24 hours) with the Transitional Residential Treatment program (TRT) working Saturday thru Monday 7:00am – 3:30pm. Provide milieu management of residential clients.  Monitor client safety & client physical condition including vital signs.  Plan/coordinate/ supervise client activities and complete charting duties.  Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work, etc.) or one year of college plus one year of documented work experience in behavioral health, and CAC I or the ability to receive within one year of hire date.  Closing date: 9/9/2010

 

Case Manager Assistant, HITT:  Fulltime position working Monday thru Friday days with the High Intensity Treatment Team located in central Denver. This individual will assist case managers with the treatment of clients diagnosed with primary severe/persistent mental illness and secondary drug and/or alcohol problems. Duties include aiding clients to find and access resources, helping with daily living activities, and utilizing public transportation.  Some travel with clients in vehicle expected.  Requirements include a valid Colorado driver’s license, a clear driving record, Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, a minimum of six months experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Closing date:  9/9/2010

 

Clinical Supervisor II – Outpatient Services:  Full time Middle Management position.  Individual is responsible for the day-to-day operation of busy clinics that provide substance-use disorder and behavioral health treatment services. Individual needs knowledge of managed care, DUI Ed, therapy, and must have strong clinical supervision skills.  Requirements include a a clinical Master’s degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work, etc.); CAC III; and a minimum of 4 years counseling experience (license preferred - LCSW, LPC, LAC, LMFT) and prior management experience is preferred.  Closing date:  9/9/2010

 

Detox Technician, Detoxification Services:  Full time position working Friday through Tuesday, 7:00am - 3:00pm in Wheat Ridge.  Individual will provide admission and discharge services as well as provide a safe environment for clients undergoing detoxification. Requirements include either a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social services, etc.)  or a Certified Addictions Counselor I (CAC I) with one year of documented work experience in behavioral health.  Closing date: 9/9/2010 

 

Detox Trainee, Full time – Commerce City:  Full time position (32 hrs), Thursday through Sunday, 3:00pm - 11:00pm, working in Commerce City.   Individual will provide admission and discharge services as well as provide a safe environment for clients undergoing detoxification. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, plus six months of documented work experience in behavioral health, CAC I preferred. Closing date:  9/9/2010

 

Detox Trainee, Weekends – Wheat Ridge:  Part time position, Saturday and Sunday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm, working in Wheat Ridge.   Individual will provide admission and discharge services as well as provide a safe environment for clients undergoing detoxification. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, plus six months of documented work experience in behavioral health, CAC I preferred. Closing date:  9/9/2010

 

Nurse – RN or LPN, Women’s Residential:  Part time position (24-30 hours per week) in Littleton. Individual will provide direct medical services to women clients and their children while clients participate in treatment services.  Some flexibility is required in schedule to meet client’s needs. Requirements include RN or LPN and experience working with clients with co-occurring substance abuse and mental illness. Reliable transportation and a Colorado Driver’s license are required.  Closing 9/9/2010

Primary Therapist, Adult Intensive Outpatient:  Part time position at our Thornton outpatient clinic working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 3:00pm – 10:30pm. Hours may vary to meet client needs.  Individual will facilitate intensive drug and alcohol counseling groups to include co-occurring issues, as well as family sessions, to clients in an outpatient setting.  In addition, the individual will be responsible for managing the caseload of the IOP, including keeping charting up to date, coordinating treatment with referral sources and obtaining ongoing authorizations from insurance for services rendered. Requirements include a clinical Master’s degree and Certified Addictions Counselor II (CAC II); or a clinical Master’s degree with 1000 hours documentable experience in addiction counseling work and 120 clock hours of addiction-specific education and/or training.  Closing date: 9/9/2010

 

Primary Therapist, Adult Outpatient:  Full-time position at our Thornton outpatient clinic working Tuesday through Saturday (Tue-Thu 3:00pm-11:30pm, Fri 9:30am-6:00pm, Sat 8:00am-5:30pm). Hours may vary to meet client needs.  Individual will facilitate 8-10 DUI groups weekly, as well as managing the cases for these groups.  Requirements include a clinical Master’s degree with 1000 hours documentable experience in addiction counseling work and 120 clock hours of addiction-specific education and/or training, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (psychology, counseling, human services, social work, etc.) and a CAC II.  Closing date: 9/9/2010
