Program Overview
Aspen Center for Women provides gender specific services for pregnant/postpartum women with drug and alcohol dependence and other co-occurring issues.  This intensive residential treatment program is for women 18 and older and has a 60 day, flexible length of stay.  Aspen Center for Women has capacity to simultaneously serve a total of 16 women and their dependent children. 

 

Program Services
Services offered include parenting, family therapy, case management, healthcare and integrated treatment for substance dependence, mental illness and trauma related issues.

 

Admission Criteria
• Age 18 and over;
• Pregnant or postpartum;
• Substance dependent with other co-occurring issues;
• Involved with multiple systems;
• Previous recipients of other treatment services.

• Substance dependent with other co-occurring problems;
• Involved with multiple systems of care.

 

Expected Length of Stay
24 hours per day throughout the year.

Each year Arapahoe House provides services to many persons with significant clinical needs. Arapahoe House has a priority on serving persons with the greatest clinical needs. Persons with certain individual circumstances are given service access priority. They include: pregnant women, injection drug users, women and their dependent children, and  persons who are on involuntary commitment status.
