Ways to Give

Did you know $7 is saved for every $1 spent on alcohol and drug abuse treatment programs?  Arapahoe House offers countless opportunities to change the lives of those suffering from substance abuse:

 

Circle of Hope and Healing – This easy donation program is a monthly commitment that is automatically paid from your credit card, and adds you as a member of Friends of Arapahoe House.

 

 

 

Clients in Need Scholarship Fund – helps fill the financial gap for those who want and need treatment.  Your contribution to the Clients in Need Scholarship Fund is critical in today’s economy, when other sources of funds are limited and personal financial strain can lead to stress, depression and subsequent substance abuse.

 

Donate Your Car – If you have an unwanted vehicle, you can get some more miles out of it by converting it to a charitable donation.

 

Gifts-in-Kind – Your new or lightly used items including clothing (especially winter and maternity clothes), hygiene items, toiletries, household items, baby diapers and baby wipes are always welcome to our clients.

 

Adopt a Family Program – This giving program and event brings hope and the spirit of the
Holidays to single-parent families in Arapahoe House programs.  Each family creates a wish list to be fulfilled by donors who buy and wrap presents.

 

Holiday Stocking Program – This fundraiser benefits individuals in our residential treatment programs.  Stockings are given to adolescents ages 12-18 and adults who reside at Arapahoe House during the Holidays.  A gift of $25 provides one stocking but a lot of hope for someone in treatment.
 

Plan for a Future Gift –A simple bequeath in your will for any amount or percentage you choose will go a long way to ensure that our doors stay open for years to come.

 

Stocks – A gift of appreciated securities allows you more tax deduction benefits than cash!

 

Tribute Gifts – A gift in honor or memory of a friend or loved one affected by alcohol, substance abuse or behavioral health problems.  Show that Arapahoe House has touched the life of someone you care for by giving an honorarium or memoriam gift. 

 

50% Childcare Tax Credit – Through the Colorado Child Care Contribution Credit to promote childcare in Colorado, Arapahoe House offers a 50% tax credit to gifts made to our Child Care Learning Center to donors who designate childcare when giving a gift.

 

School Supply Drive – An annual school supply donation project for adolescents in Arapahoe House residential treatment programs and children of parents in all of our life-changing addiction treatment programs.
